Mike Nelson documented some of the biggest waves of the day while most people were trying to figure out how to get to their cars after almost a foot of snow and ice hit New York. We had to crop this photo to fit on the homepage, and that axed the guy paddling out. And how can you not talk about this swell without mentioning Killarney’s wave.
