Enduring flat spells require a juiced up EZ Pass and a full tank. Evan Conway and Tom Connolly squeezed the last bits of late summer/fall juice out of the gas tank and the ocean on a Outer Banks excursion, catching NY XPAT Will Skudin finding East Coast Pipe perfection along the way.

April 2007 Cover Shot – St. Patrick’s Day Swell

Mike Nelson documented some of the biggest waves of the day while most people were trying to figure out how to get to their cars after almost a foot of snow and ice hit New York. We had to crop this photo to fit on the homepage, and that axed the guy paddling out. And how can you not talk about this swell without mentioning Killarney’s wave.
