Egg Hunt ’09
Scattered around the net are dozens of freshly colored eggs I’d like to add to the quiver. They Will Surf Again, a no-cost program underwritten by Life Rolls On and generous sponsors, is the flagship program of Life Rolls On. TWSA utilizes a surfing experience to push the boundary of possibility for those with SCI.
Injured athletes from around the country gather together for a day of surfing. Some have not surfed since their injury, some have never surfed, some surf all the time despite their varying mobility.
TWSA connects dozens of volunteers (roughly a 7:1 volunteer to surf ratio is needed), with a handful of injured individuals, together for a day of excitement, joy, and best of all, surf! Safety precautions and experienced watermen (and women), along with lifeguards are always present. No prior surfing experience is necessary.

Vincent Laforet is ranked as one of the best photographers working today and was named one of the top 100 most influential photographers of 2005 by American Photo magazine. His photographs can drop a jaw, make the photo enthusiast squeal, and spawn conversation between strangers viewing in galleries. From National Geographic to Sports Illustrated and many between, his visions have been reproduced on a variety of substrates for our viewing pleasure. Along with four other photographers, Vincent was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Feature Photography for his post-9/11 coverage overseas in 2002. He’s been one of a handful of people to work with the RED High Definition video cameras and has been testing out this new camera equipment with Jamie O’Brien at Pipeline in Hawaii.
