Tommy Brull Foundation Benefit

The Tommy Brull Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to benefit people with special needs on Saturday, November 15th, from 2:30pm – 5:30pm,  at Cannon’s Blackthorn in Rockville Centre.

The mission of the foundation is to raise funds to benefit people with physical, mental and emotional disabilities in our community. We wanted to create a foundation that paralleled some of Tommy’s values. We feel that this goal best captures Tommy’s caring and empathic nature.

The Right Wave

I can close my eyes and recall just about every memorable right I caught in Long Beach. Come to think of it, everyone you get is memorable. On Saturday night at the New York Surf Film Festival, the music turned a deeper shade of bass when I noticed Dubs was at the controls. About an hour before, people were beginning to wonder where he was when Match told me he was out surfing and on his way in. I went up to say hello and without missing a beat he turned around, took off the headphones said “I got the sickest right this afternoon on my Pavel quad.”

Long time Long Beach surfer Ron Hamilton made sure his old friend doesn’t forget it.
