The Surfrider Eastern Long Island chapter is having a Beach Access Benefit at Tugboat’s North Sea House on Friday Devember 2, 2005 at 7:30 pm. Live music, surprise guests and more. Proceeds benefit the Eastern Long Island Chapter of Surfrider Foundation currently involved in the fight to keep Home Rule Regulation regarding responsible motor vehicle access on our beaches.

Petition for Wind Farm Environmental Impact Study

SurfriderCLI is petitioning that there be a full Environmental Impact Study (EIS) on the proposed wind farm. We are asking that people print out this petition and get it signed by friends, family, and co-workers. Since this will be in Federal Waters, anyone can sign it.

WILMA AND THE NOR’EASTER

While Wilma was making her way up the east coast an early visit from her winter counterpart , the Nor ‘easter, made an appearance. The two conspired for an epic showdown that left the awaiting New York surfers the recipient of big waves as the storms pushed ahead. Grem67 video.
